Mokpo City Hosts '2022 Job Seeker and Employer Meeting Day Event'

[Mokpo=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeong Hyeong-seok] Jeonnam Mokpo City announced on the 7th that it will hold the '2022 Mokpo City Job Fair' at the Mokpo Industrial Complex Employment Hope Center (former KT Building 2nd floor) on the 12th and 13th.

Hosted by Mokpo City and organized by the Mokpo Industrial Complex Employment Hope Center, this event, under the theme 'Jobs Together, Vibrant Mokpo,' will be held from 1 PM to 5 PM, with 20 local small and medium-sized enterprises experiencing recruitment difficulties participating to hire about 80 people.

Booths such as the On-site Recruitment Hall and Job Information Hall will be operated. At the On-site Recruitment Hall, 10 companies will conduct employee recruitment and corporate promotion through on-site interviews, which will be conducted by prior reservation to prevent COVID-19.

At the Job Information Hall, four related local organizations, including the Mokpo Youth and Job Center, will promote job policies and provide job seeker and employer consulting services.

In addition, various side events necessary for job seekers will be held, including personal color diagnosis & image consulting, career aptitude discovery through fingerprint analysis, MBTI personality type tests, and job search stress tests.

A city official said, "We hope this recruitment event will serve as an opportunity to resolve companies' recruitment difficulties and help job seekers find employment," adding, "We will continue to expand support for employment and recruitment activation."
