Hyundai Capital Settles into New Nest, Opens Recruitment for New Employees in Second Half of the Year

[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Hyundai Capital, which recently established a new headquarters near Seoul Station, is launching an open recruitment for new employees in the second half of 2022.

Hyundai Capital announced on the 7th that it will conduct an open recruitment for new employees in the second half of 2022. This open recruitment is the first since Hyundai Capital moved its headquarters to the Grand Central Building near Seoul Station on the 26th of last month. The company is seeking talent in a total of seven divisions: ▲ Strategic Planning ▲ Digital·IT ▲ Auto Business ▲ Financial Business ▲ Risk Management ▲ Overseas Business ▲ Management Support.

In particular, the Overseas Business division will continue to recruit new employees in the second half of the year following the first half. For this division, candidates with overseas experience and proficiency in a second foreign language such as Italian, Portuguese, or French will be given preference. Currently, Hyundai Capital operates a total of 13 overseas subsidiaries in countries including the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, Canada, China, and Brazil.

The recruitment targets for this open recruitment are graduates or expected graduates by February next year from four-year universities (including graduate schools). The hiring process will proceed in the following order: document screening, coding test (only for Digital·IT division applicants), online aptitude and personality test (in November), interview (in November), and Trial Week (in December). Those who pass all these stages will join the company in early January next year.

The 'Trial Week' introduced for the first time in the first half of this year’s open recruitment will also be conducted in the second half. Trial Week is the final stage of the selection process for candidates who have passed the interview stage, where they perform a short-term project for three days in their desired department and are evaluated based on the results. It is conducted on an absolute evaluation basis, so candidates who demonstrate high competence can all be accepted regardless of the competition rate.

Meanwhile, those who wish to apply for this open recruitment can do so on Hyundai Capital’s recruitment website by 4 p.m. on Monday, October 17.
