The on-site consultation center will be open from the 5th to the 6th at the Sinsa-dong Community Service Center in Gwanak-gu, providing comprehensive consultations on various support measures and application methods following the declaration of a special disaster area for residents affected by flood damage.
At the center, residents can receive consultations on ▲ Seoul-type emergency welfare ▲ disaster relief payment procedures ▲ support for small business owners related to damage recovery and livelihood support, as well as ▲ home repair support for damaged houses ▲ monthly rent and deposit support for housing stability ▲ Seoul Hope SOS scholarship support ▲ and guarantees and loans for small business owners.
Additionally, for those who find it difficult to visit or have mobility issues, the district will operate the ‘Integrated Call Center for Wind and Flood Damage Recovery Support’ until October to provide telephone consultations.
Furthermore, the Gwanak-gu Mental Health Welfare Center is running a ‘Disaster Psychological Recovery Support’ program for residents suffering mental distress due to flood trauma.
Residents can have their mental health assessed for symptoms such as depression and receive counseling for psychological stabilization based on the results. If necessary, psychological stabilization kits will be provided, and high-risk individuals will be connected to specialized psychiatric medical institutions or the National Trauma Center.
Mayor Park Junhee stated, “We will prepare various measures to support residents affected by the heavy rainfall and make every effort to assist them,” adding, “We will do our utmost to help residents return to their daily lives as soon as possible.”
