Police Investigate on Charges of Excessive Exposure
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] A man driving a motorcycle shirtless and a woman wearing a bikini as a passenger in Gangnam, Seoul, were booked by the police on charges of excessive exposure.
On the 18th, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul announced that male bike YouTuber A and female social media influencer B were booked on charges of excessive exposure under the Minor Offenses Act.
B posted a video on her Instagram that day showing her wearing a white wedding dress while appearing at the Gangnam Police Station.
They sparked controversy after multiple eyewitness accounts were uploaded online showing them riding a motorcycle in the rain around Gangnam on the 31st of last month. At that time, the woman was wearing a swimsuit, and the man was shirtless.
A police official said, "Both the man and woman were booked on charges of excessive exposure," adding, "We have completed one round of questioning for A and B."
