Anticipating the Launch of the 8th Civilian Administration... Changwon City to Invest 30 Billion Won in Nubijeon

[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] Changwon City in Gyeongnam Province will issue 30 billion KRW worth of Changwon Sarang Gift Certificates Nubijeon at 9 a.m. on July 5th to mark the launch of the 8th term of the civilian government.

The Nubijeon issued in July will consist of 10 billion KRW in paper form and 20 billion KRW in mobile form, available at a 10% discount as in the first half of the year.

They can be purchased at about 250 sales agencies including Gyeongnam Bank, Nonghyup, Saemaeul Geumgo, and Shinhyup, as well as through the dedicated mobile Nubijeon app.

The city announced that it issued 80 billion KRW in the first half of the year and plans to issue an additional total of 120 billion KRW in the second half.

A city official said, “We plan to maintain the individual monthly purchase limit of 200,000 KRW so that more citizens can use Nubijeon.”

Kim Busik, Director of the Economic Revitalization Division, said, “We hope this will help citizens and small business owners struggling with ongoing price increases,” and added, “We will strive for the stable operation of the local love gift certificates, which serve as a strong pillar of the local economy.”
