[Asia Economy Reporter Hyungsoo Park] All NFTs of the ‘Blubaay Claydino Limited Edition’ issued by the NFT marketplace ‘Blubaay’ of Delio, a virtual asset fintech specialist company, were sold at auction. Delio announced on the 3rd that the limited edition NFT auction held on Blubaay for a week from the 24th was successfully completed with many bids and interest from users.

The Blubaay Edition is the first NFT issued after Claydino, based on Klaytn, migrated to the Ethereum mainnet. As various NFT projects such as MetaKongs have recently been migrating to the Ethereum mainnet, the Blubaay Edition attracted great attention from collectors even before the auction began.

A total of six works composed of ‘Babydino’ characters were submitted for the auction. Five editions were produced for each character, issuing a total of 30. Rather than simple numbering, each was issued with a different design, becoming a hot topic among collectors. The highest price was for number 17, ‘Shark Dino,’ wearing a yellow shark costume, sold for 0.082 Ether (ETH).

Delio explained that the Blubaay Edition received great response from the MZ generation due to being the first NFT of Claydino issued on Ethereum and its usability as a PFP (Profile Picture). They also analyzed that various marketing activities conducted in parallel, such as MBTI events, webtoons, and giveaways of physical figures, greatly contributed to this success.

A Blubaay official said, "The complete sell-out of the NFT collection is meaningful as it proves that NFTs migrated to Ethereum can succeed," adding, "Using the project’s success as a stepping stone, we will lead the market by introducing various NFT financial services such as NFT collateral loans and rental services along with collaborative NFTs with various artists."

A Claydino official also added, "Blubaay has conducted various marketing activities befitting its reputation as a playground for creators," and "We hope that NFT project teams can gain recognition through Blubaay."
