On this day, in the Seoul foreign exchange market, the won-to-dollar exchange rate closed at 1,174.2 KRW per dollar, down 4.5 KRW from the previous day's closing price.
The exchange rate opened at 1,176.5 KRW, down 2.2 KRW, rose to 1,179.2 KRW, but then gave back the gains.
On the 12th, the KRW-USD exchange rate surged to 1,198.8 KRW, close to the 1,200 level, marking the highest point in about 1 year and 2 months.
As of 3:30 PM, the KRW-JPY revaluation rate stands at 1,025.46 KRW per 100 yen. This is down 13.51 KRW from the previous day's 3:30 PM reference price of 1,038.97 KRW.
