1 Night 2 Days Program Presents Expanded Version of 'Mulmeong Trailwalking'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] Gokseong-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Yoo Geun-gi) announced on the 20th that it will introduce an expanded version of the rural tourism program ‘Mulmeong Trail Walking’.
Mulmeong Trail Walking is a 1-night 2-day program that heals the body and mind while enjoying the clear scenery of the Seomjin River.
Last month, Gokseong-gun introduced it as a rural tourism program and received a great response from many people.
The county has released an expanded version with the concept of ‘Visiting Healing Forest’ to continue the popularity of the Mulmeong Trail Walking program.
Taking advantage of the region’s characteristic of having more than 70% mountainous area, it allows visitors to enjoy both the river and the forest.
In addition, for travelers who find a 1-night 2-day trip burdensome, a same-day experience called ‘Local Experience That Makes My Body Smile’ has been prepared. Visitors can spend a fulfilling day experiencing sprout bibimbap made with 12 kinds of vegetables and wine made from local food.
A county official said, “In a time when it is cautious to step outside the house, our county’s rural tourism program will be a good solution,” and added, “We hope you fully enjoy a delicious local food trip that makes the most of regional ingredients and a sustainable trip that considers the environment without leaving traces.”
