According to Cheonan city health authorities on the 18th, Officer A, a social essential worker, received the AZ COVID-19 vaccine on the 6th.
After 9 days, on the 15th, he was transferred to a hospital in Cheonan city due to fever and impaired consciousness and is currently receiving intensive treatment.
As a result of tracking about 20 people who received the vaccine with the same batch number as the one administered to Officer A, no unusual cases have been reported.
The city health authorities stated that the causal relationship between Officer A's adverse reaction and the vaccine has not yet been confirmed.
