Samdasoo Eco-Friendly Label-Free Product, First Unveiled at the '2021 P4G Seoul Summit' Kim Jeong-hak, President of Jeju Development Corporation, is taking a commemorative photo after signing a business agreement with the P4G Preparatory Planning Group on the 20th.

[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Jeju Samdasoo announced on the 20th that it will unveil its eco-friendly label-free product for the first time at the ‘2021 P4G Seoul Summit’.

Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Development Corporation, which produces and sells Jeju Samdasoo, signed a business agreement with the P4G Summit Preparation Planning Group and will showcase the Green Edition, Jeju Samdasoo’s eco-friendly label-free product, for the first time at the ‘2021 P4G Seoul Summit’ held in Seoul on the 30th and 31st of next month.

Jeju Samdasoo is promoting eco-friendly product production and activities to establish a circular economy for Jeju’s resources. The agreement includes participation from Jeju Samdasoo, Hyosung TNC, Youngone Holdings, Coupang, and IKEA Korea.

The Development Corporation initially planned to release only the 2ℓ product, which is widely consumed at home, as an eco-friendly label-free product, but plans to expand the application to the 500㎖ size in conjunction with the ‘2021 P4G Seoul Summit’.

Thus, Jeju Samdasoo’s eco-friendly label-free products will be released in two types, 500㎖ and 2ℓ, and will be sold from June through the Samdasoo app, Jeju Samdasoo’s home delivery service, Emart Traders, and online malls.

Kim Jeong-hak, President of Jeju Development Corporation, said, “It is especially meaningful to introduce Jeju Samdasoo’s eco-friendly label-free product for the first time at the multilateral environmental summit held in Korea for the first time,” adding, “This will actively implement the Green Hall Process promoted by the corporation and contribute to Korea’s leap as a leading country in climate and environmental response.”

Meanwhile, in February, Jeju Development Corporation declared its eco-friendly management vision called the ‘Green Hall Process’ and is promoting an eco-friendly business model that covers the entire process from production to distribution, collection, and recycling through carbon dioxide reduction.
