Galleria Department Store will open the Italian high jewelry brand Buccellati for the first time in Korea at its luxury hall on the 20th.
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Galleria Department Store announced on the 15th that it will open the Italian high jewelry brand Buccellati for the first time in Korea at its luxury hall on the 20th, strengthening the competitiveness of high jewelry and watch brands in the luxury hall.
Founded in 1919, Buccellati boasts a 100-year history and is characterized by the use of rare gemstones of unique colors and a harmony of white and yellow gold with textured surfaces. The brand produces its products by inheriting traditional Italian workshop techniques from the Renaissance period, and this is the first exclusive store in Korea. Currently, Buccellati is owned by the Richemont Group, with the founder Mario Buccellati's family involved in overall management.
The representative collection is the Macri line, which uses the rigato engraving technique that gives a silky texture to the metal surface, making pure gold appear like soft silk. The light reflected through the surface spreads into thousands of rays, making the product shine even more beautifully.
Meanwhile, Galleria has expanded the existing high jewelry store area along with the new Buccellati opening, enlarging the high jewelry and watch zone, which was previously arranged on two floors (B1F-1F), to the second floor luxury women's section.
A Galleria official said, “Certain popular models of luxury watches and jewelry are so in demand that customers must visit immediately after trying them on, without waiting, to be able to purchase.”
