Concert Held in Museum Lobby on the 17th with the Theme 'Perfection in Art'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Seoul Museum of History announced on the 13th that it will hold this year's Talent Sharing Concert under the theme "Music Stories Unraveled Through History," presenting the first performance in the museum lobby on the 17th with the theme "Perfection in Art."
The planning and commentary are led by Professor Hwang Soon-hak (Seoul National University of Science and Technology), and the "Seoul Festival Ensemble" team (Music Director Oh Kyung-yeol, Jeon Kyung-mi, Jung Hae-wook, Koo Jung-hoe, Baek Ha-yeon, Park Joon-geon, Choi Jung-yeon, Kim Moon-gil, Na Ji-young, Jang Se-jung), who have been actively performing domestically and internationally since 2014, will appear to showcase beautiful piano and string instrument performances.
The Talent Sharing Concert, a professional classical performance series that began in 2012, is planned with a total of five performances on the third Saturdays of April (the first concert), July-August, and November-December under the concept of "Music Stories Unraveled Through History."
Baek Hyun-sook, director of the Seoul Museum of History, said, "We have prepared the concert under strict quarantine guidelines so that citizens can safely enjoy the music concert amid the COVID-19 situation. We hope this concert will provide a small comfort to citizens whose daily lives have been exhausted by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic."
