In this employment exam, 90% of the first-round successful candidates from the Department of Education passed the final exam, which is considered a significant achievement given that the department’s enrollment quota is 20 students.
The Department of Education at Chosun University is highly regarded for its systematic operation of the major curriculum and the moral ethics-linked major curriculum, as well as the faculty’s innovative student-centered teaching methods.
Additionally, from admission, one-on-one close counseling with lifelong advising professors is conducted, with each professor providing over 120 student consultations annually. This achievement is analyzed as the result of close mentoring for employment preparation, including self-designed and dedicated lesson demonstrations and interview preparation conducted by a mentor group of alumni currently working as field teachers, as well as the first and second-round employment support programs provided by the Chosun University Teacher Training Operations Team.
