Busan city health authorities announced on the 11th that five people tested positive for COVID-19 on the 10th afternoon, increasing the total confirmed cases to 2,945.
The health authorities began a full investigation on the 10th afternoon into visitors to bathhouses from February 1 to 8 after confirmed cases were reported at Myeongcheontang on Chungjang-daero, Jung-gu.
At Myeongcheontang in Jung-gu, where the first confirmed case was reported on the 1st, two people who had contact with the confirmed case (No. 2878) tested positive, bringing the total number of confirmed cases related to Myeongcheontang to 12 as of the 11th.
In Busan, infections have also occurred at Joiltang in Dongnae-gu and Geumhotang.
The health authorities have sent text messages advising recent users of these bathhouses to get tested at health centers.
