According to Pocheon City on the 5th, "Mayor Park Yoon-guk visited the Pocheon Employment Welfare Center on the 4th to discuss measures to revitalize the National Employment Support System and held a meeting with the head of the Uijeongbu Employment and Labor Office," he said.
The Pocheon Employment Welfare Center will deploy nine personnel (2 from Pocheon City, 2 from the Pocheon Women's New Work Center, and 5 from the Uijeongbu Employment Center), including professional career counselors, social workers, and public officials, to provide services such as national employment support, welfare support services, and specialized employment support services for women with career interruptions.
In particular, the Pocheon Employment Welfare Center will operate services for the Korean-style unemployment assistance system, which provides both employment support services and livelihood support for vulnerable employment groups.
Mayor Park Yoon-guk said at the meeting, "We will closely collaborate with the Uijeongbu Employment and Labor Office and actively support the Pocheon Employment Welfare Center to ensure the successful implementation of national employment support for job seekers who wish to find employment, and we will do our best."
