[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Healthcare company Cosijama (CEO Lee Geon-young) announced on the 10th that it has provided a massage chair to Choi Ji-man, a player active in Major League Baseball (MLB).
Cosijama explained that it recently provided the massage chair "Legend (CMC-X9000)" to Choi Ji-man of the MLB Tampa Bay Rays, who returned to Korea last month, so that he could rest comfortably while staying in the country. Choi Ji-man also posted a photo using the Cosijama Legend on his personal social network service (SNS).
The Cosijama Legend offers a massage tailored to the body with 4D massage balls and a three-dimensional frame that applies from the head to the hips. It automatically adjusts the leg length up to 18 cm using a heel detection sensor according to body size, and is equipped with a safety sensor to prevent leg pinching.
Cosijama plans to continue sponsorships to support the rest of athletes who often experience muscle stiffness and fatigue, and to promote the technology of Cosijama massage chairs to more people. Kim Kyung-ho, head of Cosijama’s marketing department, said, "We hope that Choi Ji-man will take sufficient rest with the Cosijama massage chair, which provides differentiated massage, and receive help preparing for the new season next year."
