Honam University CHAMP '5th Cohort Alumni Sarangbang' Special Lecture

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Gwan-woo] Honam University Graduate School of Social Convergence’s ‘China Advanced Management Program (CHAMP)’ recently held the ‘5th Sarangbang’ meeting at the Confucius Academy and invited Director An Su-gi of Green Nursing Hospital and CEO Cha Byung-ho of Deulkotbang as lecturers to conduct special lectures, the program announced on the 26th.


In his special lecture titled ‘Conditions (Performance and Symbolism) of the Oriental Beauty,’ lecturer An Su-gi posed the question, ‘What are the conditions of an Oriental beauty?’ and took time to compare cultural phenomena of the East and West from a humanities perspective.


Lecturer Cha Byung-ho, under the theme ‘A Beautiful World Made with Flowers,’ shared his sincere life journey walking with flowers throughout his life through stories about flowers.


The CHAMP program consists of offline lectures by scholars and experts from Korea and China, as well as study tours in China, and runs until the 9th of next month.


The Honam University Graduate School of Social Convergence and the Confucius Academy jointly established the Honam University CHAMP program (China Advanced Management Program) to provide a systematic curriculum on China’s history, culture, politics, economy, society, diplomacy, and language in order to better understand China, which has emerged as a G2 power.


Additionally, all participants receive various benefits, including a certificate of completion from the president of Honam University and enrollment in the Confucius Academy’s Chinese conversation course.
