According to the distribution industry on the 30th, Emart will hold its biggest annual event, 'SSG Day,' over two days on the 31st and the 1st of next month. This year, the volume of goods for the SSG Day event has been prepared at 200 billion won, double that of last year, and the event, which was held for only one day last year, has been extended to two days.
Major event products include up to 50% discounts on all Korean beef items. On the 31st, Russian Red King Crab will be sold at 4,990 won per 100g, 40% cheaper.
Emart-exclusive product DreamView SMART UHD TV 75-inch will be sold at 1,090,000 won, discounted by 200,000 won when purchased with the event card during the two days of SSG Day, limited to 1,500 units at all stores. Food items such as fried dumplings, jam, red pepper paste, soybean paste, ssamjang, curry, black bean sauce, refrigerated coffee, and daily necessities including adult toothbrushes, hair treatments, and hair dye will all be offered as 1+1 deals on all items.
Lotte Mart will also hold the 'Lotte Mart Banban Day' event for two days starting from the 31st. Seasonal fresh foods such as fruits and vegetables, prepared foods, processed goods, and daily necessities will be offered at up to half price and 1+1 deals.
Through a Korean beef event jointly planned with the National Korean Beef Association and the Korean Beef Fund Management Committee, Korean beef will be sold at half price, and fresh foods, processed foods, and daily necessities will be discounted up to 50%. On the 31st, 'Jeju GAP Tangerines' and 'Happy Fresh Eggs' will be available at half price, and on the 1st of next month, 'Shine Muscat,' 'Huggies Diapers,' and 'Biscuits' will be offered at special prices.
Homeplus will run the 'Blackbuster' discount event nationwide across online and offline channels until the 25th of next month, offering up to 50% discounts on all category products. From fresh foods to processed foods, daily necessities, fashion, and home appliances, about 70,000 items will be offered at up to half price.
Additionally, every day at 3 PM, a total of 5,000 old-fashioned whole chickens will be sold at a special price of 3,990 won each, and during the first week of the event, 'Nonghyup Safe Korean Beef' will be discounted up to 50% on all items. Furthermore, a 'Limited Planning' event has been prepared to sell special prices on rib meat, sliced kimchi, hometown dumplings retro, stainless steel pots, recliner chairs, and more.
