On the 28th, Gwangsan-gu announced that it signed a business agreement with the Gwangju Disabled Workers Support Center with the goal of "realizing a happy community together with the disabled."
The two organizations agreed to establish a mutual cooperation system to support the removal of barriers to employment for the disabled and resolve difficulties in workplace life.
A Gwangsan-gu official said, "With today's business agreement as an opportunity, the two organizations will establish a close cooperative system to improve the quality of life for disabled workers."
Meanwhile, the Gwangju Disabled Workers Support Center, which opened in April, provides various programs such as counseling and labor law education to disabled individuals who face difficulties in maintaining employment after being hired.
