[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) will exclusively showcase the fashion sewing joint brand ‘Forple’ 2020 Fall/Winter collection on Naver’s ‘Designer Window’.
The ‘Forple’ collection, released on the 22nd, carries the theme ‘Love each other,’ delivering a message of sharing love with everyone affected by the COVID-19 downturn.
This collection is overseen by Jungnang-gu, with planning production by The Works (CEO Kim Eun-shin), designer Shin Hye-young of the fashion brand Wunderkammer, fashion director Choi Hye-ryun, and Forple’s muse and volunteer model, actress Choi Kang-hee.
Notably, this season introduces a new unisex line designed to expand the consumer base across various generations, allowing everyone regardless of age or gender to enjoy it. The collection, which has attracted attention with multi-talented entertainer Jo Se-ho participating as a junior director alongside designer Ha Dong-ho of Sewing Boundless, consists of 20 styles including winter coats, padding, hoodies, pants, as well as bags and accessories.
Additionally, broadcaster Jo Se-ho, participating as a junior director, will present collaboration T-shirts with ‘Forple,’ capturing consumers’ attention with diverse styles and cross-coordination.
Jo Se-ho’s story of participating as a ‘Forple’ designer can be viewed on Naver TV and through Jo Se-ho’s ‘Ipyeo Juseho’ (Dress Me Jo Se-ho).
The ‘Forple’ 2020 Fall/Winter collection is available for pre-order until November 5, offering customers who reserve early a 20% discount and various gifts and events.
On the 29th at 7 PM, an untact mobile live event will be held on Naver En Shopping Live to continue communication and events with customers.
Jungnang-gu Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi said, “We thank everyone who loves the brand ‘Forple.’ We will actively work to revitalize ‘Forple,’ widely promote the excellence of local sewing companies, and contribute to the local economy by creating quality jobs.”
‘Forple’ is a Jungnang-gu fashion brand operated as part of the Jungnang-gu Fashion Support Center (Smart Anchor) project. The district plans to develop the sewing industry into a high value-added industry by combining IT technology and brand planning. Currently, there are about 2,500 fashion sewing companies in Jungnang-gu, and last year, the ‘Myeonmok Fashion (Sewing) Specific Development Promotion District’ was selected as a central urban regeneration project by Seoul City. The Jungnang Fashion Support Center (Smart Anchor) is currently under construction.
