[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-ju] A man in his 60s caused a disturbance on a Korean Air passenger flight departing from Incheon International Airport bound for Seattle, USA, and was handed over to the U.S. police.
On the 25th, Korean Air announced that a passenger identified as Mr. A threatened flight attendants and caused a disturbance on the flight that took off from Incheon Airport at around 4:40 PM the previous day.
Mr. A is reported to be a Korean-American.
About 40 minutes before landing, Mr. A entered the cabin kitchen and threatened three flight attendants.
Mr. A, who attempted to enter the cockpit, was subdued by the flight attendants.
Korean Air handed Mr. A over to the U.S. police immediately after arriving at Seattle Airport.
