Funshop plans to expand its unique subscription service portfolio that considers individual preferences by starting regular deliveries ranging from art rentals to audiobooks and socks.
CJ ENM O Shopping Division announced on the 7th that Funshop has partnered with 'Mihai Socks' to start a sock subscription service, an essential item for office workers. This service quickly reflects customer needs who found it cumbersome to buy socks pair by pair despite wearing them daily. Customers who subscribe can receive high-quality socks with new designs every month at a reasonable price during a 3-month or 6-month delivery period. By producing a fixed quantity of socks according to the number of subscribers, inventory burden and distribution margins have been reduced. Customers can choose their preferred sock designs such as Business, Street, or Basic, and select quantities from 1 to 3 pairs.
In line with the recent consumer trend of enjoying home interiors, Funshop also launched the art subscription service 'Pinzle.' Subscribers can receive one artwork selected by the Pinzle curator every month. From the 1st to the 16th of last month, the 6-month regular delivery subscription was offered via pre-order and was selected as Funshop's most popular product during that period. Additionally, the knowledge content platform 'Audiobook Willa' service was introduced, receiving great responses from customers.
A CJ ENM Funshop official said, "With the preference for non-face-to-face services due to COVID-19 and increased time spent at home, various types of subscription services that align with changing consumption trends are gaining popularity," adding, "Going forward, Funshop will support diverse customer experiences through lifestyle subscription services in living, fashion, and food."
