[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] As the United Future Party continues to boycott the National Assembly in protest against the Democratic Party of Korea's forceful organization of the 21st National Assembly, United Future Party lawmaker Jang Je-won criticized the party leadership on the 2nd, saying, "I hope you won't regret it later."

On the same day, Jang wrote on his Facebook, "Endless hardline stances are 'reckless politics.' 'All or nothing' is not politics," expressing his view.

He said, "The Democratic Party has started persuading the public by transferring a whopping 35 trillion won in the supplementary budget (supplementary budget) to the accounts of university students, self-employed people, and vulnerable groups. Our party says it will develop policies such as low birthrate, basic income, and full-day childcare, which may never be realized, starting now," adding, "It's a confrontation between cash and promissory notes without a payment date."

He continued, "If we had reached an agreement on the 29th of last month and (our party) had taken control of the Special Committee on Budget and Accounts, we could have created a revised bill reflecting our intentions, not the Democratic Party's self-congratulatory supplementary budget proposal."

He also added, "(If the United Future Party had participated in the National Assembly's agenda), by now the Yoon Mi-hyang scandal would have reignited with preparations for a state audit, dominating the headlines, and the Legislation and Judiciary Committee would have become the 'stage of judgment' for Justice Minister Choo Mi-ae. There would also be uproar over the adoption of witnesses for the Han Myeong-sook hearing."

Finally, regarding the party's boycott situation, Jang said, "Right now, we are mere spectators, only criticizing while watching their (Democratic Party's) 'one-party rampage show,'" and he sharply criticized, "Who is suffering losses here? Endless hardline stances are 'reckless politics.'"
