[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] “We express our gratitude to everyone who is dedicated to fighting against COVID-19.”
The Dongseo University LINC+ Project Group participated in the ‘Thanks To Challenge’ to encourage and comfort medical staff struggling with COVID-19.
The ‘Thanks To Challenge’ is a nationwide participation campaign started by the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters last April to support medical personnel who work day and night to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and treat patients. It is conducted in a relay format by sharing photos or videos expressing the sign language gesture meaning ‘I respect you’ and nominating the next participant.
The Dongseo University LINC+ Project Group joined the campaign after being nominated by the Chosun University LINC+ Project Group. The next baton will be passed to the Dongseo University Software-Centered University Project Group, Kyungsung University LINC+ Project Group, and Busan Information Technology Association.
Hwang Ki-hyun, Deputy Director of the Dongseo University LINC+ Project Group, said, “We gladly participated in this campaign to express respect and gratitude to everyone who is striving hard to ensure students can safely return to campus,” adding, “We all must work together to prevent the spread of COVID-19 through activities such as complying with quarantine rules and practicing social distancing.”
