[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeon Seong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Jun-seong) announced on the 1st that it is recruiting "Happy Trip Candidates for Large Families" to help multi-child families feel the importance of family and to create a childbirth-friendly social atmosphere.
The Happy Trip for Large Families plans to select 6 families and have them participate in family harmony programs, local culture exploration, and family experience activities over 2 nights and 3 days in Jeju Island between August and December.
Also, the schedule and location may change depending on the COVID-19 situation.
Eligibility for application is families residing in the county with their resident registration as of the application date and having three or more children under the age of 19.
Those who wish to apply can download the application form from the announcements and notices section on the county website by the 30th and submit it by fax or visit the Population and Employment Policy Office.
The selection criteria will be based on the total number of children, the length of residence in the county as of the household composition date, and the health insurance premium payment amount for the month prior to the application month, with points assigned for each item and candidates ranked by total points. The selection results will be posted on the county website on the 13th of next month.
