[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] The court dismissed the arrest warrant request for Lee Mo, the eldest son of Lee Jang-han, chairman of Chong Kun Dang, who is accused of illegally filming a woman's body.
Seoul Central District Court announced on the 2nd that it dismissed the arrest warrant requested by the prosecution against Lee on charges of violating the Sexual Violence Punishment Act.
Chief Judge Choi Chang-hoon of Seoul Central District Court stated the reason for dismissing the warrant, saying, "Considering that the face was not exposed in the Twitter post, that the suspect voluntarily deleted the post, and that the victims do not wish for punishment, it is difficult to recognize grounds for detaining the suspect." Lee is accused of filming a woman's body parts without consent and posting them on Twitter.
