[Daily Fund Trends] Domestic Bond Funds See Net Inflow of 637 Billion KRW... Largest This Year So Far


[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jihwan] Nearly 640 billion KRW flowed into the domestic bond fund market in a single day.


According to the Korea Financial Investment Association on the 20th, as of the 18th, the domestic bond fund market excluding exchange-traded funds (ETFs) saw a net inflow of 637 billion KRW. This is the largest daily amount so far this year. On the same day, the overseas equity fund market also recorded an inflow of 4.2 billion KRW.

On the other hand, the domestic equity fund market experienced a net outflow of 26.6 billion KRW. Net outflows have continued for seven consecutive days, totaling 268 billion KRW during this period. The overseas equity funds saw a net inflow of 15.5 billion KRW.


As of the 18th, money market funds (MMFs), which are demand deposit-type products, recorded a net inflow of 229.9 billion KRW. The MMF subscription amount was 147.6019 trillion KRW, and the net asset value totaled 148.6182 trillion KRW.
