Korean actors Park Hae-il, Soo-ae, Choi Daniel and Sin Se-gyeong will receive awards at the 15th annual Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival (PiFan), according to the film fest on Wednesday.
A press release from PiFan announced that during the opening ceremony of the film fest on July 14, Park and Soo-ae will be handed the Actor's Award for starring in various genres of movies, while Choi and Sin will take home the Fantasia Award.
Musical actor Um Ki-joon will win the It Star prize for his acting skills as well as his ability to star in various productions.
The Actors Award is given to the actor that best befits PiFan and is chosen by actors registered with the Korean Actors' Association while an online and offline survey is held amongst moviegoers for the winners of the Fantasia Award.
This year's PiFan will take place from July 14 to 24 and a total of 221 works from 34 countries will be featured at the festival. The fest will kick off with Indian director Rakyesh Omprakash Mehra's movie "Bollywood: The Greatest Love Story Ever Told" and end with Ahn Sang-hoon's action pic "Blind."
