Big Bang members not main lineup of Pentaport Rock Festival

Korean idols G-Dragon, T.O.P and Taeyang of boy band Big Bang were mistakenly included in the list of artists named in the main lineup of the Pentaport Rock Festival this summer.

Yesterday, the second lineup of performers for the fest was announced, listing Big Bang's GD&T.O.P unit and Taeyang as well but a PR official from YG Entertainment told 10Asia over the phone on Friday that they "are not part of the regular lineup for the rock festival."

She then added, "It is true they will be attending the festival but only to take part in an event at it... They are neither part of the regular lineup nor will they be performing on the main stage."

An announcement was posted on Pentaport's official website as well, stating that the mistake came from miscommunication. Their names have been removed from the poster as well.

This year's Pentaport Rock Festival, into its sixth edition, will take place at the Incheon Dream Park from August 5 to 7.

Artists slated to take part in the fest include Korn, the Plain White T's, Neon Trees, !!!, Mamas Gun, Joe Brooks, The Ting Tings and Korean rock band Boohwal.
