Modetour Launches Premium Concept Tour
One-Day Departure on April 9, 2026
Experience Cho Seongjin's Recital at Carnegie Hall
Modetour announced on November 11 that it has launched the premium concept tour "New York Classic Culture Trip: Part 2," centered around pianist Cho Seongjin's New York recital.
This package is a special seven-day itinerary departing only once on April 9 next year, designed as a premium themed trip for customers who want to enjoy both art and travel. In particular, this is a follow-up to the first concept tour, which received an enthusiastic response last September with pianist Lim Yunchan's performance, continuing the in-depth experience of music and culture.
The highlight of the tour is Cho Seongjin's solo recital at Carnegie Hall in New York. Author Kim Kihong, known as the YouTuber 'The Man Who Reads Classical Music' and writer of 'Kind Classical,' will accompany the group throughout the trip, providing pre-concert explanations and on-site reviews to deepen the travel experience with insights into the flow and context of classical music. Notably, the concert will be enjoyed from the very front row on the first floor, offering an immersive and special experience that brings the vivid resonance and emotions of the stage up close.
In addition to Cho Seongjin's recital, the main itinerary includes attending the opera "La Boh?me" at Lincoln Center, home of the New York Philharmonic Orchestra and a hub of American classical music, as well as the iconic Broadway musical "Wicked." The tour also features a private docent tour of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) before opening hours, a visit to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, one of the world's top three art museums, and stops at New York's most famous landmarks such as Times Square, Central Park, SoHo, Brooklyn Bridge, High Line Park, and Washington Square Park, allowing travelers to fully experience the city's diverse charms.
Gastronomy is also a highlight of this trip. The itinerary includes Essa Bagel, one of New York's top three bagel shops; the authentic handmade burger Shake Shack; the original New York pizza at Lombardi's Pizza; Gallagher's Steakhouse, recognized as one of New York's top three steakhouses; Segovia Steakhouse, renowned for its premium lobster dishes; and a three-course fine dining Korean meal at 'NARO' by Michelin-starred chef Park Junghyun, offering a complete taste of New York's culinary scene.
Flights will be operated by Korean Air or Asiana Airlines on direct round-trip routes between Incheon and New York. Accommodation will be at the four-star Sheraton Times Square, located in the heart of Times Square for all nights, ensuring both convenience and quality. Additionally, the tour is organized with no tipping, no optional tours, and no shopping stops, allowing travelers to enjoy the trip without extra burdens.
Lee Daehyuk, Head of the Product Division at Modetour, stated, "We aimed to offer a unique experience that blurs the boundaries between art and travel, centered around the world-renowned pianist Cho Seongjin's performance." He added, "We plan to continue expanding premium themed tours that reflect our customers' tastes and sensibilities in art, culture, and gastronomy."
