"We Will Continue to Support the Spread of the Circular Economy in Daily Life"
"After watching the news about water shortages caused by drought, I wondered if the water dripping from air conditioners could be reused." This was the comment made by the youngest participant after winning an award at the recycling idea contest hosted by LG Chem.
On November 11, LG Chem announced that an elementary school student's idea won the Grand Prize at the "Recycle Social Contribution Impact Challenge" contest held in August. The contest, which saw participation from 254 teams nationwide, was an event to discover creative social contribution ideas by recycling discarded resources.

Other award-winning ideas included: ▲eco-friendly trophies made from waste wood, ▲cheering sticks that can be used as food waste bags, ▲collection bins and bollards made from recycled plastic, and ▲flood response kits.
