Promoting Korean Tea Beverages Amid the K-Culture Boom
On-site Events Include Product Sampling and Design Voting

On October 10, Dongwon F&B announced that it had unveiled its new product, "Dongwon Boseong Black Tea Iced Tea Hallabong," at the 11th Autumn Royal Culture Festival "Hanbok Yeonhyang" held at Gyeongbokgung Palace in Jongno-gu, Seoul.

This event was organized to effectively promote "Dongwon Boseong Black Tea Iced Tea," a representative Korean tea beverage, in response to the growing global interest in K-culture. Dongwon Boseong Black Tea Iced Tea is a product that modernizes Boseong tea leaves, which were presented as royal tribute during the Joseon Dynasty, and combines them with the iced tea and zero-calorie trends. It currently holds the top market share in the domestic ready-to-drink (RTD) tea beverage category, according to NielsenIQ Korea.

At this event, Dongwon F&B introduced its new product, "Dongwon Boseong Black Tea Iced Tea Hallabong," for the first time in about two years. Visitors sampled the new beverage and participated in a design preference vote for the new product, which was inspired by traditional content. The results of the vote will be reflected in future product packaging.

A Dongwon F&B representative said, "In line with the worldwide interest in Korea's traditional cultural heritage, we planned a unique experiential event," adding, "We aim to grow Boseong Black Tea Iced Tea Zero into a global tea beverage brand, beyond just the domestic market."

Meanwhile, the "2025 Autumn Royal Culture Festival," hosted by the Cultural Heritage Administration's Royal Palaces and Tombs Center and organized by the National Heritage Promotion Agency, is a national heritage festival that showcases a variety of traditional cultural content-such as performances, exhibitions, and hands-on experiences-at royal palaces.
