"Connecting Young People" Osan and Gunpo Join Hands

Osan City and Gunpo City will co-host the youth networking event, "Youth Connection Festival - SOLO Only Osan×Gunpo Love," in November. The two cities have jointly planned and will operate the event together.

This event is drawing attention as it marks the first attempt by multiple local governments to collaborate and present a new model for youth networking. The two cities have agreed to cooperate throughout the entire process, from planning to promotion and operation.

The event will be held twice. The first session will take place on November 1 at the AC Hotel by Marriott Seoul Geumjeong in Geumjeong-dong, Gunpo, and the second session will be held on November 22 at Meror in Osan.

A total of 72 unmarried men and women born between 1985 and 1998, who are either residents of the two cities or work at local companies, will participate. For each session, 18 participants from each city will be selected to ensure a balanced group.

The program includes romance coaching, couple recreation, one-on-one conversations, dinner, and matchmaking. According to Osan City, the event is designed not only as a simple meeting but also to help participants deeply understand each other and interact naturally.

Applications can be submitted online from September 24 to October 22.

Lee Gwonjae, Mayor of Osan City, stated, "It is significant that the two cities have joined forces to provide young people with a special opportunity to connect," adding, "We will continue to do our best to make our city a place where young people want to live and can envision their future."
