Obigo, a company specializing in software-defined vehicle (SDV) service platforms, announced on September 11 that it will supply its "PickJoy" arcade game service to Renault Korea's flagship vehicle model, the Grand Koleos. With this launch, SDV service revenue is expected to begin in earnest.

Obigo to Supply "PickJoy" Game Service to Renault Korea... SDV Service Revenue to Begin in Earnest

PickJoy is a game service platform developed by Obigo for in-vehicle use, offering more than 20 types of games. Popular casual games such as "Cut the Rope," which has recorded over 700 million cumulative downloads, and "Fruit Party" are included. After installing "R:ArcadeGame" from the Tmap Store in the vehicle, users can enjoy the games on the center or passenger seat screens.

An Obigo representative stated, "The Grand Koleos is Renault Korea's flagship model, with cumulative sales of approximately 50,000 units since its launch in September last year, making this supply especially meaningful. The SDV service platform, based on higher profitability compared to existing solutions, will significantly drive Obigo's growth potential."

Obigo plans to further strengthen its partnership with Renault Korea through this supply. The two companies are also discussing expanding the supply of mass-production vehicle services and various SDV service platforms beyond PickJoy.

Hwang Doyeon, CEO of Obigo, said, "Through this collaboration, our SDV service platform technology has been recognized by a global automaker, marking the first step toward a fundamental transformation of our business. We will actively pursue various partnership opportunities to enhance our competitiveness and maximize tangible profitability."

Meanwhile, Obigo plans to fully commercialize its SDV service platforms, including "PickNow," "Pickle," and "PickJoy," starting in the second half of the year. The company is also accelerating its efforts to evolve into a mobility life artificial intelligence (AX) platform by integrating AI technology into its SDV services.
