'THE GRATEFUL CAMP 2025 (TGC)' was held at Jjangttungeo Beach in Jeungdo, Sinan County, South Jeolla Province, from September 5 to 7, concluding successfully after three days and two nights.
This festival established itself as a unique boutique stay-type event, distinct from conventional music festivals, by combining a variety of programs such as music performances, comedy, wellness, and wrestling against the backdrop of Jeungdo's exceptional natural scenery where forest and sea harmonize.
Top-tier artists from Korea and abroad performed on stage, captivating the audience. The lineup included Japanese cinematic sound artist VIDEOTAPE MUSIC, electronic music band Idiotape, indie rock group 3rd Line Butterfly, saxophonist Kim Oki Lovlov, Galaxy Express, Kirara, and CHS, among others, further heightening the excitement.
The event also featured a diverse array of content, including 'MUDDY STAND UP COMEDY,' 'Dancehall Time,' an aerobics class by Park Moonchi, the professional wrestling match 'THE GRATEFUL CLASH TOURNAMENT,' as well as emotional and beer yoga and earthing programs. On the final day, the after-party 'MIDNIGHT PARADISE,' led by Hasegawa Yohei and Tiger Disco, kept the festivities going until dawn.
During the festival, more than 1,500 visitors came to Jeungdo, contributing to the revitalization of local businesses such as accommodations and restaurants.
A Sinan County official stated, "This TGC served as a successful starting point for the 'First Sinan' festival series, becoming an event where the region and visitors came together by combining Jeungdo's unique spatial charm with an original concept," adding, "We will continue to present differentiated festivals unique to Sinan in the future."
