A Total of 7.17 Billion Won in Scholarships Awarded So Far
Gyeryong Scholarship Foundation Continues to Support Students' Dreams
Seungchan Lee, Chairman of the Gyeryong Scholarship Foundation (Chairman of Gyeryong Construction), awarded scholarships totaling 71 million won for the second semester of 2025 to 50 high school and university students on September 5.
This round of scholarships is the second installment of the 142 million won in general scholarships for 2025. Since the foundation was established in 1992, the total number of scholarship recipients has reached 16,224, with the cumulative amount awarded totaling 7.16926 billion won.
Chairman Seungchan Lee stated, "The Gyeryong Scholarship Foundation continues to support students who are doing their best to achieve their dreams, and we will remain a steadfast supporter so they can pursue even greater aspirations."
Since its establishment, the Gyeryong Scholarship Foundation has consistently provided scholarships not only to students with outstanding academic achievements but also to those who demonstrate exceptional talent in the arts and sports.
In addition to its scholarship programs, the foundation has established itself as the leading scholarship foundation in the central region by organizing a wide range of public interest and cultural projects, including idea contests, urban architecture tours, the Yurim Park Drawing Competition, the Yurim Senior Filial Piety Award, the construction of a replica of the Gwanggaeto Stele, and exploration trips to Baekje cultural heritage sites in Japan.
