At this competition, Gwangju City gave a presentation titled "Guaranteeing the Basic Rights of Stateless and Undocumented Children through Collaboration with National Agencies!" and shared a representative case in which the city promoted the protection of the right to survival and the restoration of human rights for stateless and undocumented children through close cooperation among national agencies.

The main cases introduced included: ▲ Establishing measures for acquiring nationality and long-term protection for stateless and neglected children ▲ Developing options for undocumented migrant children to remain in Korea. Through these efforts, Gwangju City focused on supporting children so that they do not lose their minimum rights and can live as members of society.

The city plans to continue strengthening the protection system for stateless and undocumented children by forming a public-private consultative body, expanding cooperation with relevant agencies, and taking the lead in promoting children's rights. In addition, Gwangju City will continue its warm companionship for children without names, striving to help marginalized children regain their dignity and realize a welfare community where everyone lives together.

Mayor Bang Sehyun stated, "This award is the result of joint efforts by the local community and the nation to protect children," adding, "We will continue to implement inclusive welfare administration that does not exclude stateless and undocumented children, actively share these best practices, and contribute to spreading a culture of active administration throughout the public sector."
