Three professors from National Hanbat University have been named as recipients of the Excellent Paper Award in Science and Technology.
On July 15, the university announced that Professor Kim Gitae from the Department of Industrial and Management Engineering, Professor Choi Gyunseok from the Department of Creative Convergence, and Professor Choi Byungho from the Department of Construction and Environmental Engineering have received the "35th Excellent Paper Award in Science and Technology," hosted by the Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies (hereafter referred to as KOFST).

KOFST selects the recipients of the Excellent Paper Award in Science and Technology by comprehensively evaluating the influence, excellence, and originality of papers recommended by each academic society among those published domestically in the previous year, as well as the degree to which they contribute to academic advancement.
Professor Kim Gitae was nominated for evaluation based on the recommendation of the Korean Institute of Industrial Engineers. He was selected as the awardee in the engineering field in recognition of the excellence of his research on "Locker Location and Dynamic Vehicle Routing Problem Considering Traffic Congestion."
Professor Choi Gyunseok, recommended by the Korean Institute of Electrical Engineers, was included in the list of recipients for his paper titled "A Study on Minimizing Heat Accumulation by Support in Non-uniform Cross-sections through Macro Analysis during the PBF Additive Manufacturing Process."
Professor Choi Byungho received the Excellent Paper Award in Science and Technology for his paper, recommended by the Korean Society of Hazard Mitigation, titled "Experimental Study on Fabrication and Structural Performance of Prefabricated Composite Girders with Precast Deck-Girder Continuous Joints."
