Korea Investment Management to Lower Fees on Five ETFs Including US S&P500

Korea Investment Management will lower the total expense ratios for five major exchange-traded funds (ETFs).

According to the financial investment industry on July 11, Korea Investment Management plans to reduce the total expense ratios for five products?'ACE US S&P500', 'ACE US Nasdaq100', 'ACE KRX Gold Spot', 'ACE 200', and 'ACE 200TR'?effective July 17.

Earlier this year, when ETF competitors such as Samsung Asset Management, Mirae Asset Global Investments, and KB Asset Management all moved to cut their fees, Korea Investment Management maintained its previous rates. However, it appears the company has changed its stance in the second half of the year.

With this measure, the fee for Korea Investment Management's US S&P500 product will be reduced from 0.07% to 0.0047%. This matches the lowest fee among other S&P500 ETFs.

The fee for the US Nasdaq100 product will change from 0.07% to 0.0062%. The current lowest fee in the industry for similar products is 0.0055%.

ACE 200 will be adjusted downward from 0.09% to 0.017%, and ACE 200 TR will decrease from 0.03% to 0.01%. As a result, the total expense ratios for these two ETFs will be on par with the lowest rates offered by competitors.
