[Tomorrow's Weather] Rain Subsides but Sweltering Heat with Feels-Like Temperatures of 31 Degrees Persists

On Thursday, the 26th, the rain that fell across the country the previous day is expected to subside in most areas.

In the central regions and northern North Gyeongsang, the rain is forecast to stop on the night of the 25th. However, in northeastern Gyeonggi and northern North Gyeongsang, rain may continue until dawn on the 26th, and in Gangwon and North Chungcheong, some areas may experience rain until the morning of the 26th.

Until the morning of the 26th, some areas in South Chungcheong and North Jeolla may see raindrops of less than 0.1 mm. In the late afternoon, showers are expected in some inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon.

The rain, which will temporarily stop, is forecast to start again on the afternoon of the 27th in western Incheon and Gyeonggi, gradually spreading mainly to the central regions.

For the time being, daytime temperatures in inland areas nationwide are expected to rise to around 30 degrees Celsius, resulting in hot weather. In particular, in the southern regions, the maximum perceived temperature is expected to exceed 31 degrees Celsius in many areas, making it feel even hotter. On the 26th, the morning low is forecast to be between 18 and 21 degrees Celsius, and the daytime high between 25 and 30 degrees Celsius.

Until the morning of the 26th, due to the influence of low cloud cover, some mountainous areas of Gangwon may experience dense fog with visibility less than 200 meters. In particular, fog may be even denser on bridges located along the coast, such as Incheon Bridge, Yeongjong Bridge, Seohae Bridge, and Cheonsa Bridge, as well as around rivers, lakes, valleys in inland areas, and at tunnel entrances and exits.
