Efforts to Restore Weakened Bonds in the Digital Environment

LG Electronics is launching a new global campaign as part of its brand message, "Life's Good," which encourages people to create better lives with an optimistic attitude.


On the 25th, LG Electronics announced the launch of the 'Radio Optimism (A Music Station That Delivers Smiles)' campaign. This campaign conveys feelings of gratitude, encouragement, and support through songs, using music as a universal language that resonates with people worldwide. According to LG Electronics, the campaign aims to restore emotional bonds that have weakened in the digital environment and to spread an optimistic attitude.

LG Electronics noted that while people actively share their daily lives through photos and videos on social media, interactions often remain at the level of superficial responses such as "likes," making it difficult to form meaningful relationships or exchange genuine emotions. In fact, in LG Electronics' "Social Connectivity Survey" conducted among global consumers, 68% of respondents said that it is difficult to form genuine friendships or have meaningful communication on social media.


Inspired by the radio communication method of delivering stories and songs, LG Electronics developed "Radio Optimism," reinterpreted with artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Users can enter a message they wish to send on a dedicated website, select a music genre such as K-pop, R&B, or jazz, and choose the mood of the song. The AI then creates a suitable song and album art based on these selections. The completed content can be shared with people around the world.


The service is currently available in English and Spanish, with plans to expand to additional languages such as Korean, French, and German in the future.


Kim Hyoeun, Head of Brand Management at LG Electronics, said, "We will continue to carry out various brand activities to ensure that the 'Life's Good' message is delivered sincerely, even in the digital environment."
