Found Out by Chance While Organizing Old Photos
A married couple who met through social networking services (SNS) was later surprised to discover that they had actually been "partners" sitting side by side in a kindergarten group photo taken more than 20 years ago. It was not until seven years after their marriage that they learned this fact.
On June 11 (local time), the UK’s Daily Mail reported the story of Michael Moore (26) and Ashley (26), who live in Runcorn, Cheshire.
According to the report, Michael sent a message to Ashley via SNS in 2018, which led to their first meeting. The two quickly became close, and a few years later, they got married and started a family with a son.
However, seven years later, the couple made a surprising discovery: they had attended the same kindergarten as children and had even sat next to each other in a group photo.
The photo was found by chance in an old box at Ashley’s parents’ house. Ashley said, "I found it while organizing photos as we were preparing to move. I got goosebumps when I realized the two children sitting next to each other in the photo were us," adding, "I was touched by the fact that we have existed in each other’s lives for so long."
She continued, "Knowing that we have been a part of each other's lives for so long is truly a happy thing," and added, "Our family and friends really love that we are together and call us childhood sweethearts."
Ashley shared their story on TikTok. The post went viral, garnering over 800,000 views. Online users reacted enthusiastically, leaving comments such as "It's a movie-like destiny," "I want to experience a love like that," "They look just the same as in childhood," "Did my spouse and I meet in the past too?" and "Fate really does exist."
