Yangju City in Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kang Suhyeon) announced on June 10 that the 'consortium' formed with 'Prianew Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Jongkyung)' was selected as the final winner in the '2025 Drone Industry Promotion Support Project' competition, which was organized by Gyeonggi Province and Gyeonggi Technopark on May 21.

This project is being promoted under the theme 'A Pleasant Gyeonggi Life Created by Digital Twin Drones' and will be implemented until November, with a total project budget of 300 million KRW (including 200 million KRW in provincial funds).
The project is characterized by the integration of high-precision domestically produced drones and artificial intelligence (AI) technology to collect precise data on urban spaces, with the goal of advancing administrative services based on this data.
Yangju City plans to build ultra-precise (GSD within 5cm) time-series data for key areas such as Okjeong New Town, and to apply AI-based image analysis technology to a variety of administrative tasks, including the management of household waste, monitoring of environmental pollution, and crackdowns on illegal buildings.
In particular, the project is evaluated as an innovative administrative system that achieves both accuracy and speed, as administrative processing can be carried out without the need for on-site visits.
'Prianew Co., Ltd.', which is participating in the project, is a company specializing in drone manufacturing and AI-based geospatial information solution development. Leveraging its proprietary drone airframes, flight control system (D-GCS), and service platform (DRONEiT Service Platform), the company is expected to play a key role in the implementation of this project.
Kang Suhyeon, Mayor of Yangju City, emphasized, "Being selected in this competition is not only about introducing advanced drone technology, but also marks an important turning point in fundamentally transforming the paradigm of urban administration. Through drones, we will be able to quickly identify even the smallest invisible changes within the city, and develop this as a nationwide case of innovation that genuinely enhances the quality of life for our citizens."
