Taean International Horticultural Therapy Expo Installs 'D-Day Electronic Display' to Reaffirm Commitment to Successful Hosting Chungnam Province held an unveiling ceremony for the 'D-Day Electronic Display' of the Taean International Horticultural Therapy Expo and pledged to ensure its successful hosting.

The Taean International Horticultural Therapy Expo Organizing Committee announced that it had reaffirmed its commitment to the successful hosting of the '2026 Taean International Horticultural Therapy Expo' by installing a 'D-Day Electronic Display' at the provincial government office to mark the countdown to the event, and held an unveiling ceremony on the morning of the 25th.


With one year remaining until the opening of the expo, the 'D-Day Electronic Display,' which was unveiled to the public at the ceremony, was installed to enhance the organizing committee's focus on smooth preparations and to officially signal to the public that full-scale preparations for the event have begun.


Approximately 50 people, including Park Jinsook, Director General of Planning for the Organizing Committee, and related provincial government officials, attended the unveiling ceremony, revealed the display, and pledged cooperation between the province and the organizing committee for the successful hosting of the expo.


The D-Day Electronic Display will show the number of days remaining until the opening of the expo in real time and will serve as a symbol to promote the expo to visitors to the provincial government office.


Park Jinsook, Director General of Planning for the Organizing Committee, stated, "One year (D-365) is not just a number; it represents our collective commitment to thoroughly prepare for the expo, which is now just one year away," and added, "We will use the remaining time to prepare meticulously and systematically to deliver a high-quality international event."


Meanwhile, the 2026 Taean International Horticultural Therapy Expo will be co-hosted by Chungnam Province and Taean County for one month from April 25 to May 24 next year under the theme 'A Healthy Future Found in Nature: Horticulture & Therapy.' The event is expected to attract 1.82 million visitors from 40 countries.
