Samsung Electronics announced on April 25 that the 2025 Samsung OLED TV has received a series of positive reviews from major overseas tech media, proving its technological prowess and product completeness. This year, Samsung expanded its OLED TV lineup to three series, comprising 14 models, thereby offering consumers a wider range of choices.
According to the industry, the UK-based IT media outlet TechRadar commented on the SF95 model, stating, "The picture quality details have been further enhanced compared to the previous model, which was named TV of the Year 2024," and highlighted that "the Glare-Free technology, which reduces light reflection in bright environments, is the most impressive feature." The UK IT media AVForums also described it as "the best QD-OLED TV for the price," and selected it as a 'Best Buy.'
The US home entertainment device media outlet HomeTheaterReview selected the SF95 as an 'Editor's Choice,' describing it as "the brightest TV that outshines mini LED TVs," and noting that it "features a brighter screen than its predecessor, new artificial intelligence (AI) functions, and an upgraded Tizen OS." The renowned US tech media Tom's Guide praised it as "Samsung's best OLED TV, equipped with high brightness, anti-glare technology, AI features, and an ultra-slim design," and also highlighted the convenience of cable management through the One Connect Box.
The SF90 model has also received favorable evaluations. HomeTheaterReview in the US selected the SF90 as an 'Editor's Choice' as well, and the UK IT media TrustedReviews awarded the SF90 a perfect score in its testing. In addition, the UK IT media T3 gave it the 'Platinum Award,' stating that it "delivers outstanding picture quality that sets the standard for OLED TVs," while the UK media Stuff awarded it the '5 Star Award,' describing it as "an excellent product in terms of picture quality, sound, and smart interface."
The 2025 Samsung OLED TV features 'Glare-Free' technology, which reduces light reflection and blocks glare, and '4K AI Upscaling Pro' technology, which allows viewers to watch low-resolution content in near-4K quality.
Equipped with the 'AI Smart Home' feature, the TV comprehensively analyzes the user's lifestyle patterns, the status of home devices, weather, and indoor temperature, and suggests actions tailored to the user's lifestyle and home environment.
'Home Monitoring' has also been newly implemented. Based on on-device AI, if unusual movement is detected while the TV is off, real-time alerts are sent to the user's mobile device or another TV.
