On that day, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency stated, "Severe traffic jams are expected from Gwacheon, Gyeonggi Province, towards downtown Seoul due to the Jeonnong protest," and added, "Traffic may also be restricted from Sadang towards Gwacheon."

The police plan to deploy about 160 traffic officers to minimize inconvenience to citizens.

A police official said, "There are not many detour routes in the affected area, so significant inconvenience may occur," and urged, "Please use detour routes from a distance or take the subway."
