Gumi-si Moves One-Stop Civil Service Team to Main Building 1st Floor... Strengthening Customized Civil Service

Significantly Improved Accessibility and Convenience
Pleasant Administrative Services Provided Through Creation of Rest Areas

Gumi City in Gyeongbuk has relocated the One-Stop Civil Service Team to the civil service office on the first floor of the main building and officially started operations on the 4th to enhance citizen convenience.

Gumi-si Moves One-Stop Civil Service Team to Main Building 1st Floor... Strengthening Customized Civil Service Kim Jang-ho from the Gumi Office and the Civil Complaints Team are looking at the newly created rest area and the comfortable administrative service complaint resolution cafe.

This measure aims to improve accessibility for civil petitioners and enable faster processing of civil complaints, which is expected to significantly increase citizen satisfaction.

In particular, the existing cafe space has been newly renovated to create a vertical garden and a citizen resting area, allowing civil service tasks to be conducted in a pleasant environment.

Additionally, through spatial reorganization, waiting times have been reduced and work continuity strengthened, focusing on providing efficient services.

The city plans to actively promote this civil service office relocation not merely as a physical move but as a citizen-centered administrative innovation by ▲simplifying administrative procedures ▲strengthening interdepartmental collaboration systems ▲expanding citizen communication.

Furthermore, the city intends to expand the ‘Visiting Civil Service’ by directly listening to citizens’ opinions at meetings of neighborhood leaders and economic organization events and promptly devising solutions.

Real-time civil service satisfaction surveys will also be conducted, and major resolved cases will be disclosed on the city hall website, continuously promoting citizen-oriented administrative improvements.

Last year, the One-Stop Civil Service Team achieved remarkable results by successfully resolving 29 out of 32 long-term unresolved civil complaints.

Notably, they promptly addressed key issues such as the opening of a sub-entrance at Sandong Hoban Verdiium and the flooding problem at Gupo-dong factories, earning positive evaluations for ending the ‘civil complaint ping-pong administration.’

Kim Jang-ho, mayor of Gumi City, emphasized, "Taking this civil service office relocation as an opportunity, we will pursue more innovative administration to minimize citizen inconvenience and do our best to resolve civil complaints swiftly. We will continue to improve to enhance citizens’ quality of life and realize trusted administration."
