Gyeonggi Yangju City (Mayor Kang Su-hyun) will celebrate the reopening of the Gyoeoseon Line by presenting a special city tour, "Jangheung 1DAY Tour & Romantic Busking Train Journey," on the 15th.
According to Yangju City on the 2nd, this program is a romantic fam tour that allows participants to fully experience the hidden charms of Yangju, offering a special experience that transcends time and space.
In particular, it is attracting attention as an amazing journey encompassing the rich natural scenery and artistic sensibility of Jangheung-myeon.
The trip begins with the tranquil lake of Gisan Reservoir.
At the first destination, Gisan Reservoir, participants can leisurely walk along the deck path stretching over the lake and enjoy the beauty of nature.
A relaxing time will be provided where one can feel the tranquility as if immersed in a scene from an East Asian painting.
The following course deeply immerses participants in the works exhibited by two masters of modern and contemporary Korean art.
At the Jang Uk-jin and Min Bok-jin Art Museum and Sculpture Park, art pieces harmoniously arranged indoors and outdoors will inspire participants and leave their own artistic resonance in their hearts.
The highlight of the trip is undoubtedly the "Romantic Busking Train with Byeolsan."
On the train departing from Daegok Station and continuing to Uijeongbu Station, a sweet acoustic live performance themed "Love and Travel" will be held.
This approximately 50-minute performance will make even the train’s movement part of the melody, providing participants with an unforgettable emotional experience.
Additionally, Yangju City plans to provide Byeolsan goods and various souvenirs so that participants can remember this special journey for a long time.
Applications can be submitted online through the Korail Tour website, and the program is offered completely free of charge.
The number of participants is limited to 15 couples (a total of 30 people), and registration will close on a first-come, first-served basis, so early application is recommended.
A Yangju City official said, “To celebrate the reopening of the Gyoeoseon Line, we planned this program to widely promote the hidden charms of Yangju and give participants unforgettable memories,” adding, “We hope you enjoy precious moments through this emotional journey where nature, art, and music come together.”
He continued, “We hope this special journey, unfolding in the romantic and tranquil embrace of nature and on a train filled with music, will become a beautiful moment that participants will remember for a long time.”
