Four Daily Services Starting March 1
Fare Set at 10,000 KRW, Mobile Payment Supported
Gimcheon City in Gyeongbuk announced on the 17th that starting from March 1, the airport limousine bus route, which previously operated between Gumi City and Daegu International Airport, will be extended to Gimcheon City. As a result, the convenience for Gimcheon residents using Daegu Airport is expected to improve significantly.
The newly extended route will depart from the airport bus stop in Bugok-dong, Gimcheon City, pass through Gumi City, and then operate to Daegu Airport.
According to the city, the bus will run four times a day, with departure times at ▲7:50 AM, ▲9:50 AM, ▲4:20 PM, and ▲5:50 PM, and the total travel time is expected to be approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes.
The fare is 10,000 KRW for adults and teenagers, and 6,000 KRW for children. Payment can be made directly to the bus driver, via unmanned ticket machines, or through the convenient payment service using the smartphone application 'TmoneyGO'.
A city official stated, "This extension of the airport limousine bus route will enhance citizens' access to the airport and contribute to the activation of public transportation," adding, "We will continue to strive to improve transportation infrastructure for the convenience of our citizens."
