He also cited the following as achievements over the past year: development of the Dobido-Nanjido Marine Tourism Complex, expansion of the largest park golf course in Chungnam, winning the Grand Prize in the Korea Lifelong Learning Awards (1st among local governments, first in Chungnam), selection and implementation of Ministry of Education public projects, expansion of medical infrastructure, selection as a leading city for carbon neutrality (ranked 1st nationwide), and the first-ever attraction of a national institution to Dangjin.

Mayor Oh then took time to communicate in detail about the direction of city administration for this year.

In particular, he expressed his commitment to providing services that enable prompt handling of various complex civil complaints and make policy and project information easy to understand. Through this, the city aims to implement administration that actively reflects citizens' opinions.

In the economic sector, the city will support the establishment of a Korea-China drone joint venture in the Seokmun Industrial Complex's foreign investment zone and attract factories, reflect the fourth revision of the port master plan to develop Dangjin Port into a comprehensive trade port, and accelerate the realization of an eco-friendly city by establishing hydrogen-based urban infrastructure and a transportation complex base.

Additionally, the city plans to expand public sports facilities worth 100 billion won to create a city where culture and sports are naturally embedded in citizens' daily lives.

In the education and welfare sector, the city will strengthen the educational welfare foundation for youth by building an autonomous private high school and a youth training center, and opening additional youth cafes, while also expanding support for blood tests to assess dementia risk, thus supplementing the region's public healthcare system.
